If you knew of the "40 Year Plan," you would have called me an ignorant "conspiracy freak."

If I told you 40 years ago that people of power in this country would tax your savings accounts and the air you breath,  force you buy the most expensive fuel man can imagine,  ban the light bulb in exchange for a unit that is full of mercury,  take food away from the starving populations in Africa for the sake of an alternative corn fuel that cost three times the energy it saves  and is twice the pollutant as fossil fuels,  set limits on your wages and give the "excess" to the sit-on-their-butts poor,  would consider painting the roof tops and highway white in order to reflect heat and somehow save energy,  would order all horse and pack-animal traffic out of the national forests,  do away with the Constitution, entertain communists at all levels of government, order businesses to develop their own power grid or shut down,  entertain race riots and class warfare as pathways to social change,  order the surrender of all American troops to a centralized world organization,  ban "God" from our schools, our money and our government buildings,  move America into a world court system of "justice,"    order the Catholic Church to abandon papal authority,  prevent students from attending a religion function while they fulfilled their service requirement to the central government, force churches to employee atheists,   seize control of the nations farms and manufacturing sectors,  control all lending,   order the deaths of all surviving abortion victims, take control of the internet,  ciminalize political speech that is counter to the counter-revolution,  demand  you purchase cars that are all electric and have to be charged every 40 miles,  order all American citizens to join an AFL-CIO inspired union or not work at all,  turn in our guns for no good reason except for the concentration of power in perpetuity . . . . . . you would think that I was borderline insane.

Geeeesh.  I guess you will just have to call me crazy, then.

Why we will never balance our budget - a post written by a TEA party conservative willing to admit the truth.

Best show on the Tube but the worst
political idea of all time, and the Democrats
think it is a great idea  -  in fact, under Obama,
our nation is having to deal with this crap for
the first time in our history.

<<<<< Best show on the Tube but the worst political idea of all time

The latest battle over student loan interest rates is,   once again,  all about spending and the increasing national debt.  In a word, The Democrats don’t care about the National Debt and the Establishment Republicans only pretend to care.

You should know that, for the first time in our history,  a political party - the Democrats - are running against a "balanced budget."  They not only oppose a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution, which would order Congress on this matter and assure a stable future,  they have no intentions of cutting spending to a point that does not increase debt.  How could they?   We overspend our annual [tax] income by a full 42% each and every year.  In simple terms,  this means that for every dollar your kid spends,  she has to borrow 42 cents from you to pay her bill or buy her next toy.

The new mantra (beginning with Obama) includes a love affair with the myopic idiocy of  "fairness" when  "legislative responsibility" and "societal survival" should be the exciting themes of the day.    No one cares about any of this in Greece and look what is happening to that country.  Many believe that Greece is a predictor of all socialistically  permissive societies including ours.   With the advent of the Anarchist Movement during the Obama years (Occupy and Democrat lead allies),   we now know that violence in the streets will be the response to any effort to bring domestic spending under control - so our politicians continue to play their games and the rest of use continue stock up with guns and ammunition.

If it were not for the TEA party influence,  no one would be talking, seriously,  about what is happening to our nation via the single issue of indebtedness.  The sad truth of the matter is this: we owe so much money that paying the debt down to “Zero” is totally out of the question.  Don’t get me wrong.  I am a “debt hater” and I support a "balanced budget amendment"  to the US Constitution.    I am simply admitting to the obvious.  We, as a nation,  have a debt that will never be decreased,  much less, paid off.  Heck, the interest on the national debt currently costs us $494 billion per year or 4.9 trillion in ten years.  You are a dupe if you believe America will ever pay its outstanding public debt.

Think about it . . . . . . . paleeeezzz.  Everyone has a fit the moment our legislators (I.e. Paul Ryan) start talking about 4 or 5 trillion dollars in cuts.  Correct ???

In fact,  no one is talking about more than 4 or 5 trillion in cuts.    Understand that anytime,  anyone, is talking about “trillions,”  they are talking about “10 years” in the same breath.  So, when the fiscal hero, Paul Ryan,   speaks of  "5 trillion in cuts,"  he is only talking about  neutralizing our national interest  payment.   We are still overspending by 42%.

Sidebar:  Indeed,  if we held the interest payment to a “sum zero game” per the Ryan cuts,   saw our GDP grow at the rate of 5 to 8 percent annually  (as it did under Reagan),  and held new spending increases to two or three percent per year,    in time,  our debt would vanish  -  understanding that “in time” might mean 50 to 100 years from now  --  but what does an educated Okie know?

Unless  a formulaic definition as described in my "sidebar," or something similar,    is institutionalized in the form of a Constitutional amendment and prescribed  legislative function,  our politicians will not continue any long term, fiscally responsible agenda,  judging from the historical record.

And,  as long as a substantial number of big spending politicians are running around,  the only alternative "solution" is a total melt down resulting  in a second and violent civil war, with an outcome that is wholly unpredictable.  And that last statement is precisely why a full-blown civil war must be avoid . . . . . .  but not at all cost.  Freedom is something that remains worth dying for and if you disagree,  maybe you should have a talk with some of our soldiers or break into my home,  late at night,  to steal one of my three computers you don't own.

At any rate, there is no doubt that we, as a nation,  are at critical mass and  it is "critical" because this nation does not have enough people who care about fiscal responsibility.  "Fairness" as used by the Slickmeister,  is only an excuse for more spending and we all know it.  Sadly, his "fairness agenda" is the open door for so much more, however  -  all of it sinister and none of it in line with the Founding Theories of this nation.

Obama's 2008 and 2012 Campaigns compared, with shocking results.

<<<<<<< Post theme: he ain't cool no more.

President Obama on Palin: What's the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull?  ‘A pit bull is delicious’

With the words in our headline,  the Master of the Classless Nation,  scored more points with his Hollywood constituency over the weekend.  But,  is this all he has left, to chase after "cool" and invent one character attack after another?  We review his campaign, to date and show why rhetorical gimmickry is at the center of his bid for re-election . . . . . its all that he has left to say.

Can a man look any more cool than Mr. Tough
Guy,  Barry Hussein Obama?
Take a look as his 2012 campaign, to date.  In a word,  we are looking at nothing but "small ball" on steroids.  No more promises.  No more Greek pillars and idiot lines like "now is the time the earth begins to cool and the oceans begin to recede" (Germany 2008).  No more campaigning as if he was the international president of the world.  No more video's of kids singing Christian songs of praise re-written using Obama's name instead of Christ's.    Not a word about uniting the nation or ending partisanship.  When was the last time he gave an international speech to the Muslim world?  And, on the good side,  when was the last time he apologized to our enemies?

Instead,  "Obama 2012" is a campaign that has lashed out at the Catholic Church,  the middle class white worker,  stay-at-home moms  and private citizens who donate to the opposition.

He has negotiated with congress only once during his four years,  on the occasion of the defeat of the Keystone Pipeline bill.

He is the first president in history to preside over a Democrat Congress so one-sided,  it did not need Republican attendance for so much as a quorum.  For all of 2009,  the GOP was completely and utterly irrelevant, legislatively speaking.  Not one GOP amendment made it out of House committee and onto the House floor for a vote, another historical first.

Obama is the first president in history to have not one,  but two presidential budgets fail without getting a single vote of support from his own party members;  a 97 to Nothing vote against his budget in the 2011 Senate and a 414 to Nothing vote in the 2012 House of Representatives.

He is the first president to not know how to pronounce "corps" in the phrase  "Marine corpsman."  Trust me,  there is a big difference between a Marine corpsman and a Marine "corpse."  And he gets it wrong three times in the same speech --  hardly a "slip of the lip."

He is the first president not to know how many states there are in the Union.

He is the first to believe that tuning up our cars would resolve our Middle East oil dependency.

He is the first president to use Executive Order to legislate federal restructuring and federal law defeated in Congress by his own party.

He is the first president to unilaterally violate two treatises with foreign governments  (the missile defense treatises with Czechoslovakia and Poland).

Under his presidency,  the United States has NO missile defense system,  itself;  did you know that?  Do you give a care?

He is the first president to wage war against "freedom of religion" as prescribed in the First Amendment and the protections of the conscience clause (cf. Catholic World News).

He is the first leader of a party that intends to rewrite the free speech portions of that amendment (I refer to Pelosi's statements of two weeks ago on regulating free speech).

He is the first president to use the regulatory agencies under his control to restructure and add to the Central Government.

He has done more to fashion the Central Government as the enemy of its free constituency than any president in history.

He is the first president to wage war on the American populace via anarchy and vandelism (the Occupy movement),  sheer thuggery (the AFL-CIO and the SEIU),  the Department of Justice with its first racist AG, and alliances the likes of the Nation of Islam (Louis Farrakhan),  the New Black Panthers and those who openly wish harm to the white man (Al Sharpton,  Maxine Waters, Spike Lee and a host of black, anti-colonial leadership

He is our first anti-colonial president (note:  there is more meaning to this single point than all the above combined) .  By "anti-colonial," I do not mean to iclude any sense of the term "anti-imperialism."  For me,  they are not the same, at all.  By "anti-colonial"   I mean to imply that Obama rejects American colonial history and its Constitutional outgrowth,  as being a part of his cherished American history.  If I fashioned a parity with another phrase,  I would use "anti-Constitutional" in the same breath as "anti-colonial."   Al Sharpton once described the 10th Amendment ("states rights") as the "white man's amendment."  All reactionary Blacks rejected early American history as being "theirs" because of the fact that the early black slaves were not considered  fully human and,  hence protected by the Constitution.  It is a fact,  that, in that since,  early American history worked against the black community. What anti-colonial blacks refuse to admit is the reality that the Civil War was more about binding the Constitution onto the entire population than any other single issue.   What anti-colonial blacks refuse to recognize is the fact that,  from the very beginning,  there were those who believed the words of the Constitution applied to all peoples within the American experience and that beneficial changed has occurred precisely because of the wording of the US Constitution.

Point of post: to demonstrate that Mr. Cool ain't cool no more, but, rather, he is a menace to all who cherish founding principles and the colonials' thirst for freedom in general and freedom from religious structuring by a central government, in particular.

Merriam-Webster Agrees With Obama.Pit Bulls ARE Delicious. Palin 2 Obama 0

President Obama yucked it up at the annual White House Correspondents Dinner tonight and showed that Sarah Palin lives rent free in his head.He had a lame attempt at a hit back on her satirical remark about him eating dog meat as a child

His comment that "pit bulls are delicious" was meant to be a sly attack back on Palin but a moments consideration, and a look in the Merriam-Webster dictionary shows that in point of fact Obama gave Palin an (unintended) compliment.

                             Palin 2 Obama 0

Palin's "Eating Dog Meat" Remark Must Have Cut Deep With Obama As He Gives a Lame Response

Here is an analysis from RedState

However, I did catch wind of this lame attempt at humor.  He took a swipe at Sarah Palin by making light of his taste for dog meat. Apparently, he thinks Pit Bulls are “delicious,” or something.
The joke went over like a lead balloon. Even Michelle Obama looked perplexed by it. Here’s another gem from his speech as reported by Politico.
“As my stepfather always told me, ‘It’s a boy-eat-dog world out there.’”
His campaign is clearly worried about the buzz around his dog eating past. I don’t think this will help make the story go away, and I suspect his speechwriter will be looking for another job on Monday.
Here’s the clip of the “Pit Bulls are delicious” remark.

First Report (Very Positive) On Palin's Extraordinary Women Conf. Speech In Alabama

Sarah Palin tells Christian women to follow Alabama's motto, 'Dare to defend our rights'

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama -- Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin told an enthusiastic gathering of Christian women today that they should follow Alabama's state motto and dare to defend their rights.
"I'm not just talking about our political rights, but the rights we are given as a daughter of God," the 2008 Republican vice-presidential candidate told women this afternoon at the Extraordinary Women's Conference in Birmingham.
"He trusts us with the responsibility to live big, to live bold, to live passionately and to live vibrantly so we can effect change to the world around us," she said.
Palin was the keynote speaker at the two-day gathering organized by the Virginia-based group, Extraordinary Women. Speakers discussed their own faith journeys, based on the theme "passionate faith."
Palin used examples from her political and personal life, as well as the lives of her children and grandchild, Tripp, to show why a strong faith in God is crucial to surviving life's challenges and setbacks.
She discussed how giving birth to her youngest child, Trig, who has Down syndrome, helped strengthen her faith.
"He is the most precious, amazing child," she said. "God has good plans for us. Trig shows us what really matters and how much God loves us. He only will give us the best."
Palin, an author and commentator paid homage to Alabama's prowess on the college football gridiron -- giving both "Roll Tide" and "War Eagle" shoutouts.
She praised recently drafted Crimson Tide star Trent Richardson as a role model for recently accompanying a cancer patient to her school prom and "giving this girl hope."
She said the nation has recognized Alabama as "a champion in the midst of storms, of restoration." As Alabama rebuilds from last year's deadly tornadoes, the country recognizes how its residents "are persevering with grace," she said.
Palin used the recently broken crystal BCS championship trophy as a metaphor for the state's travails, and the strength that comes from faith.
"It provides a providential lesson," she said. "Shattered dreams and things can be restored."
Palin veered into politics, touching on national Republican Party themes such as the size of the national debt, the country's dependence on foreign oil instead of drilling domestically and the need to support Israel.
She warned that the federal government now risks making the same mistakes as the captain of the ill-fated cruise ship Titanic, ignoring warnings of danger ahead until it is irreparably damaged and sinks.
Palin also took potshots at the "leftist, liberal reporters" and "granola crunchers" who oppose gun-owners' rights. She told the audience to stick to their beliefs and values.
"It's hurt people who hurt people," she said.
But Palin's message Saturday mainly centered on the message that hope and faith are inseparable and that believers should remain strong in their faith when it inevitably is tested.
"Don't be intimidated as they try to reduce you, to mock you, to stop you," she said. "Get off the sidelines. We were created to make a difference and help others put back together their shattered lives and dreams."

What if Glenn Beck is wrong and none of this is the result of a conspiracy? Our future as a nation may be even more bleak than previously supposed.

Seriously,  is this where we are headed?

Re: the One World flow chart -- it is a picture of Barack Obama's brain on paper, a gift from all the elitists who have come before him.  His legacy to the nation or,   have we simply just lost our way?

From Infowars.com, we have one of the best documented lists comparing "then" with "now" that I have seen.  Infowars is a hardcore conservative site and, at times, it draws conclusions I would not.  Having said that,  I would definitely recommend its addition to your bookmark or blogroll.  The following list has a total of 25 points,  all linked to confirming site-sources.

The comparisons are startling,  in and of themselves,  but,  more than that,  the list tells the story of a nation in decline, and "in decline"  for a number of years, before Obama.  The list evidences the fact that we are adrift as a nation.  In the beginning of our national experiment,  we were driven by a sense of direction.  Today,  there is no common national narrative, no overwhelming sense of direction.    Our leadership has been reduced to an idealistic collective that admits to no limitations . . . . a form of government that only works in our dreams.   We have lost track of  that which is our national birthmark, that being   the civil and personal liberty of the "individual."    Our Founders believed there was no alternative for the rule of the individual but "individual liberty" is a self-limiting form of social behavior that only survives as it works through the concentrates of personal and financial ruin and poorly thought out dreams/plans.  Individuals either live or die in those failings.    Big Government seeks to lessen the impact that unavoidable disaster [in all its forms] might have on the individuals within the larger population. We need government but not for individual well-being and not as an alternative to individual liberty, certainly not centralized and growing and distant.  Think about  this:  in the local and county scene,  voters,  the citizenry,  has [nearly] full control over those who are elected to serve.  That tie is greatly reduced when we get to the state level,  especially in the more populace states.  And,  on the Federal level,  we - the individual - have almost no control at all.  Try calling a Representative or Senator from outside your region.  I have.  The response?  "We are sorry but the Senator/Representative only accepts comment from her own constituency."  To which I say,  "If the Senator votes on,  proposes,  or supports legislation that effects me,  I AM HER FREAKING CONSTITUENT."  Their response?  Well,  they promptly hang up the phone.  And what is left behind?  Lists such as the following, testaments all, to the intrinsic and unavoidable ineptitude of Big Government.

Question:  why would a self respecting Republican,  Democrat,  Libertarian or whatever,  think a centralized government that refuses to hear from the people it supposedly serves,  is an advancement on freedom or the well-being of the larger population?

The answer, of course, is so obvious as to be revelatory of an agenda that is both national in scope,  and something entirely "other" than that of individual freedom's advancement.   In short and as relates our traditions as a nation,  those who oppose federalism (the opposite of centralized governance)  are up to no good.  Like I said in the headline,  if the following list is not a measure of some grand, one world failing, if it is, rather,  the mark of sheer stupidity and lack of direction, we may not be able to survive as a nation.

From Inowars.com:

#1 The percentage of Americans that own homes is dropping rapidly.  According to Gallup, the current level of homeownership in the United States is the lowest that Gallup has ever measured.
#2 Home prices in the U.S. continue to fall like a rock as well.  They have declined for six months in a row and are now down a total of 35 percent from the peak of the housing bubble.  The last time that home prices in the United States were this low was back in 2002.
#3 Last year, an astounding 53 percent of all U.S. college graduates under the age of 25 were either unemployed or underemployed.
#4 Back in 2007, about 10 percent of all unemployed Americans had been out of work for 52 weeks or longer.  Today, that number is above 30 percent.
#5 When Barack Obama first became president, the number of “long-term unemployed workers” in the United States was 2.6 million.  Today, it is 5.3 million.
#6 The average duration of unemployment in the United States is about three times as long as it was back in the year 2000.
#7 Despite what the mainstream media would have us to believe, the truth is that the percentage of working age Americans that are employed is not increasing.  Back in March 2010, 58.5 percent of all working age Americans were employed.  In March 2011, 58.5 percent of all working age Americans were employed. In March 2012, 58.5 percent of all working age Americans were employed.  So how can Barack Obama and the mainstream media claim that the employment situation in the United States is getting better?  The employment rate is still essentially exactly where it was when the last recession supposedly ended.
#8 Back in 1950, more than 80 percent of all men in the United States had jobs.  Today, less than 65 percent of all men in the United States have jobs.
#9 In 1962, 28 percent of all jobs in America were manufacturing jobs.  In 2011, only 9 percent of all jobs in America were manufacturing jobs.
#10 In some areas of Detroit, Michigan you can buy a three bedroom home for just $500.
#11 According to one recent survey, approximately one-third of all Americans are not paying their bills on time at this point.
#12 Since Barack Obama entered the White House, the price of gasoline has risen by more than 100 percent.
#13 The student loan debt bubble continues to expand at a very frightening pace.  Recently it was announced that total student loan debt in the United States has passed the one trillion dollar mark.
#14 Incredibly, one out of every four jobs in the United States pays $10 an hour or less at this point.

Not Fade Away? It's Difficult To View Photo's Of Old Rock n' Roll Stars As They Now Are

Nothing illustrates the passage of time and the approaching end bit than to make the mistake of checking to see what pop stars from ones youth look like today.

Somehow one imagines that they have not changed, especially when an "oldie" song comes on the radio-the artists seems frozen in time in ones minds eye.

However, on reflection, once the shock wears off (and part of the shock is reflecting on ones own mortality of course (although one tends to think that they have aged and one has not) the reality is that they have had remarkable life experiences and brought much pleasure to the world. Hopefully further reflection brings to ones mind a lot of happy memories from across a life well lived.
