New polling data shows Santorum and Romney beating Obama in a national election. No surprise to this blog.

Rasmussen has Santorum beating Obama in a national election,  but worst, yet,  for our Chief Imperialist,  Romney beats Obama 48% to 43%  as the Slickmeister slides to a 44% approval rating in non-partisan polling.

Of course,  during and throughout this campaign cycle,  Leftist polling services will put Obama's approval rating as high as they can,  for obvious reasons.  That is why the only poll that counts is the one taken in the voting booth on election day.

In 2010, all the talk was for a close midterm election season with the Democrats maintaining control of the House.  That is what the Leftist polling cabal was telling the gullible and misinformed.  As it turned out,  the Right made the largest gains in recent Senate history and reclaimed full control of the House.  In addition,  across the nation more than 700 Democrat held local and state positions were lost to the GOP.

While I am not one to get overly excited,  my estimates have Obama losing big.  He is down in every voting demographic,  some a lot and some a smaller amount.  He has written off white blue collar non-union workers and he has raised just 178 million in 11 months  -  about $500,000 less than at this time in the 2008 campaign.  In fact,  he is so far behind,  that last week,  he informed the Democrat congress,  Senators and House members alike,  that they would not be getting any financial help from the DNC.  "You are on your own."    They were asking for a 30 million dollar bankroll;  instead,  they will get nothing.  In fact,  he will not do any serious campaigning for anyone other than himself,  which tells you just how bad things are for him.

Things can turn around, of course.  There is nothing to do but watch and wait.  One thing for certain,  I would rather have our numbers than his.
