It is easy to be cynical about polls and poll "analysts" like 538.com, especially when Rasmussen and We Ask America get such terrible results LIKE THIS and LIKE THIS
But when a polling firm gets it right-almost spot on, like PPP did, then they should get the kudo's.
This is very impressive. Although, since they are a Dem firm, they couldn't stop from taking a pot shot at Santorum in their day before polling analysis, the news was actually very good for Santorum, and not so much for Romney who squeaked out a 1% win.
"Raleigh, N.C. – The news is good for Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich and bad for Rick
Santorum in PPP's final polls of the three biggest Super Tuesday states."
But PPP has every right to crow about these results.
