Post script: the political war is heating up as the Right fights back against the Marxist dissidents at Media Matters and some associated with the Obama Administration (i.e. Anita Dunn and Van Jones).
Yesterday (Friday the 17th), conservative fire brand, Pat Buchanan, a ten year veteran at MSNBC, was fired from that network. This was as a result of direct pressure from the card carrying Communist, Van Jones and his associates at the far Left organization, Media Matters. Buchanan had this to say about his firing:
"The calls for my firing began almost immediately with the Oct. 18 publication of “Suicide of a Superpower: Will America Survive to 2025?”
A group called Color of Change [Van Jones' brain-child], whose mission statement says that it “exists to strengthen Black America’s political voice,” claimed that my book espouses a “white supremacist ideology.” Color of Change took particular umbrage at the title of Chapter 4, “The End of White America.”
This particular incidence adds a sense of concrete reality to the very recent expose' by the Daily Caller, dealing with the Communist front group (Dershowitz uses the term "Stalinists") and the growing opposition of the Liberal-but-no-radical- Left.
Understand there is a difference between a Liberal Democrat and a Radicalized Democrat and this difference is no more apparent than in this case. The Radicalized Democrat is someone who works against secret ballot voting, uses "structured chaos" as a tool against representative governance, assaults the principle of "free political speech," uses the MSM to smear and destroy families and careers and challenges Constitutional law at every turn. In my opinion, they are political terrorists and they currently, have much representation in Congress.
Alan Dershowitz, one of OJ Simpson's lawyers and a big time liberal Democrat, drives this differentiation home with the following statement concerning Media Matters:
First of all, [Media Matters] are not liberals. They are radical Stalinists, for the most part. They are–they bear no relationship to liberality. Liberals want to see an open marketplace of ideas, they don’t want to shut down debate the way these guys are trying to shut down; they don’t employ left-wing McCarthyism the way these guys do–these guys have nothing to do with liberalism. They’re radical extremists….And any association with the Obama administration is going to hurt the Obama administration. There’s not enough room under a big tent for both me, and people who are like me–support Israel, I’m a centrist in support of Israel, I’m in favor of the two-state solution–there’s not enough room for me and the bigots of Media Matters. The Obama administration is going to have to choose….I could not vote for any candidate who had anything to do with Media Matters. That’s clear. That’s as clear as can be. I will not–I will take an oath here that I will not vote for a candidate who has any direct association with Media Matters.
Sarah Palin, in a recent Facebook entry, had this say in agreement with Dershowitz:
If it were not for the millions of dollars coming from the likes of George Soros, Media Matters, which began in 2004, would be of no consequence, today. Since the Obama election, this organization has lost more than 50% of its supposed "5 million members" and may not play the influential elective role of the 2008 presidential election.
The organization is inextricably (we believe) tied to Obama's White House as Anita Dunn (Obama's form communication director) and Van Jones (former Green Czar) play key roles in their association with this bunch of Marxist Misfits. It is a scab on the body politic and Obama stands in the middle of it all.
Understand, "they" started this battle and "we" intend to finish it.

I agree with Prof. Dershowitz, though obviously I think there are many, many more reasons why President Obama should lose this election (trillions, if you consider his latest budget proposal). Prof. Dershowitz is right to draw attention to MMfA in particular. As Big Journalism points out: “Media Matters has been condemned by the Simon Wiesenthal Center for their continued use of an antisemitic slur; their own allies have even thrown them under the bus for antisemitism.”
This just shows that Americans of all political stripes are awakened to the dangers of unethical journalists and media organizations that deceive their audiences and use bullying tactics to unfairly target political opponents.
