What do/did those seeking "freedom" in Libya, Egypt, Syria, Iran, Iraq (before we came to town), Columbia, Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea, Russia, the several nations in Africa with despot and inhumane "leadership" and China, have in common? They had no guns.
Their ideologies are different. Their ethnicities are dissimilar. Their religions are not the same. Income levels differ.
The one common feature of hopelessly enslaved peoples in this evil world, is the fact that they have no fire-power.
That is the fact of the matter for millions and billions of people. If you are a lib, reading this, explain to me why this is not (a) the truth and (b) a concern for free people, everywhere.
Without guns, we Americans cannot resist a hostile take-over.
In 2004, the ban on assault weapons expired. Think about it. Did you even know that this took place? Was there a sudden and undeniable increase in death by assault weapons gunfire? Of course not. Proving the anti-gun lobby to be lying about their real concerns.
So why the continued feigned "concern" against gun ownership?
There is only one reason; to disarm a free and peaceful people. You may be an unsuspecting partner, in all this, but there are those who are not. Take Obama and Eric Holder: they created "Fast and Furious" with the hope that the 2,200 untraceable guns they sold into the hands of the Mexican mafia could be used, in a stealth and dishonest manner, to curb gun ownership. This is not a conservative blogoshere conspiracy theory. When Rush issued his warning on this matter, one could pretend that this was nothing more than wild accuations from a paranoid Right. But now, we have documentation from the ATF and that Rush was right. It has been reported by none other than CBS news, a friend of the Left: Their report includes this:
Documents obtained by CBS News show that the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) discussed using their covert operation “Fast and Furious” to argue for controversial new rules about gun sales. In Fast and Furious, ATF secretly encouraged gun dealers to sell to suspected traffickers for Mexican drug cartels to go after the “big fish.” But ATF whistleblowers told CBS News and Congress it was a dangerous practice called “gunwalking,” and it put thousands of weapons on the street. Many were used in violent crimes in Mexico. Two were found at the murder scene of a U.S. Border Patrol agent. ATF officials didn’t intend to publicly disclose their own role in letting Mexican cartels obtain the weapons, but emails show they discussed using the sales, including sales encouraged by ATF, to justify a new gun regulation called “Demand Letter 3″. That would require some U.S. gun shops to report the sale of multiple rifles or “long guns.” Demand Letter 3 was so named because it would be the third ATF program demanding gun dealers report tracing information.
Imagine, our own government working to defeat the will of its citizenry. To make matters worse, in the face of this failed Leftwing scheme, Obama and Hillary have now, joined with the UN to take away our registered guns.
We all need to react to this in the most convincing of ways. earlier post gives us some remedy.
